Thomas Gooding, IHM Alumni

Immaculate Heart of Mary will always be a second home to me. The IHM family provides a strong academic foundation and cultivates important values in each student. Through my experiences at IHM, I gained confidence in my potential. I experienced leadership, service, intellectual stimulation, and spiritual development. I cannot imagine a more dedicated, inclusive, or compassionate community for me to grow in my relationship with God. The priority of every IHM faculty member is the spiritual, academic, and personal wellbeing of each student. I am proud to be a part of the IHM family.

Thomas Gooding is a proud graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School (2008). Graduated High Point Central High School (2012) as Valedictorian and recipient of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. He recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.

Our children seem to have made an easy transition into both of their classrooms. At pick up time, they both have tons of happy things to tell me about their day at school.

We feel we have definitely made the right choice in a school for them. Your staff has been so welcoming and has done a great job at making them feel very special. The kids have been so nice to them as well. We look forward to participating in many more events at school.

"I AM IHM"! I have been an IHM for 19 years now. As an IHM parishioner, I am reminiscent of the times at Montlieu Avenue.  IHM has a strong network of community, warm and spirit filled in service and prayer. I am a witness to the exponential growth, strong in its foundation and under the grace and direction of the Holy Spirit Lord. The connection of the church and the school which accompanies this growth has drawn my family to choose IHM School for my kids to be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and open to the graces that flows. 

IHM is current to its adaptation to the leading technology and advances in all fields - education, athletics, and service through learning and religion through action. 

We appreciate the dedicated service of the staff, old and new and their collaboration together to the growth of the child's whole and holistic self-development ready to face the challenges the future unfolds. GO EAGLES!!!

We have been very fortunate to have all three of our children enrolled at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School. We love what every family loves here at IHM – formidable academic standards, a commitment to excellence in all pursuits, dedication to core values, and a strong sense of family. The fact that IHM is now on a fabulous modern campus with multiple growth opportunities is simply another bonus. We learn from and thoroughly enjoy the academic community as much as our children do their classmates and teachers. Most importantly, when asked, “would you send your children to IHM again if you had to do it over?” the answer would be a resounding “yes”.
